DESCRIPTION:PRIDE in the Poconos Celebration is an opportunity to champion inclusion and wellness for the LGBTQAI+ community and allies in Monroe County and surrounding areas. This fun day in the heart of Stroudsburg has music\, live entertainment\, crafts\, children's activities\, a teen space\, food trucks\, and more! Local drag Kings/Queens and DJ's will provide all-day entertainment. Resource tables will provide tools and information for staying safe and well. Let's kick off PRIDE month by painting the town rainbow! The colors of the rainbow flags throughout each area will be a reminder that everyone is supported\, embraced\, and welcomed in the Poconos. \n\nHelp us to champion diversity in our area and work to increase the visibility of the community by donating to the PRIDE Flag Program. Stand with the community and show your support by supporting The PRIDE Flag Initiative!\n\n\n\nCALLING VOLUNTEERS\n\n\n\nHelp us put on the first ever Pocono Pride Festival! The committee is seeking volunteers for help with setup\, stage coordination\, parking\, cleanup\, and more. All pre-registered volunteers will be provided with shirts and refreshments. There are jobs for all ages and abilities! To become a volunteer email Hayden.
