Led in partnership with Brandon Swayser from the Da Vinci Science Center\, this immersive program offers a rare opportunity to observe how researchers study and care for wild birds\, providing insights into monitoring bird populations\, tracking migration\, and supporting conservation efforts. What to Expect: Guided Birding Hike Enjoy a relaxed hike through this ecologically rich preserve\, with binoculars provided if you don't have your own. Discover how Wildlands' habitat restoration efforts like forest thinning and native plant regeneration are helping to create ideal nesting conditions for golden-winged warblers and other species in decline. Possible Up-Close Encounter with Wild Birds This unique experience offers an intimate glimpse into the science behind bird conservation and can help deepen your connection to these incredible creatures. Please Note:   There are no restrooms on site at Thomas Darling Preserve. The closest accessible restroom is at the Wawa\, located about one mile away on Route 115.   This program is best suited for ages 10 and up   Trail conditions: Trails may be rocky\, wet\, muddy\, and buggy\, so please come prepared with appropriate footwear\, bug spray\, and anything else you might need to stay comfortable.
