2015 American Red Cross: Home Fire safety Campaign. Carbon County Smoke Alarm Installations- Volunteers Needed!!!

American Red Cross is partnering with the Lehighton Fire Department installing FREE 10 year smoke alarms in homes that need them. We need volunteers to help with this effort.  Volunteers can help with going door to door installing smoke alarms, moving supplies, paperwork, and discuss fire safety with the resident. NO experience is necessary- all training will be provided by the Red Cross staff. Volunteer training will be at 1:30pm , canvassing and installation will begin at 2:30pm.  Refreshments will follow, at the fire department.  If you have any questions or interested in volunteering,  please contact Destinee Harper 570 476 3800 or by email at destinee.harper@redcross.org.
