2015 Domestic Violence

Domestic violence includes physical violence, sexual violence, psychological violence, and emotional abuse. The frequency and severity of domestic violence can vary dramatically; however, the one constant component of domestic violence is one partner?s consistent efforts to maintain power and control over the other. If you are a victim, or you know someone who is, learn about domestic violence and abuse--the different kinds of abuse, how to recognize signs, the devastating effects, and resources and support services available to help victims and their families move toward a violence-free future. Speaker: Louise Keller, Education Coordinator, DOmestic Violence Service Center
