2016 Stroke Screening with Optional Shingles Vaccine

The best treatment for stroke is prevention. The stroke screening includes a check for the presence of carotid bruits and evaluations for elevated blood pressure and irregular heart rates and rhythms. Participants will have the opportunity to review their personal stroke risk factors with healthcare professionals, followed by an individualized Action Plan to reduce the risk of stroke. Optional for stroke screening participants: Shingles Vaccine. For people who are uninsured (you do not have insurance) or underinsured (your insurance doesn't cover the vaccine). $5 maximum payment (check or money order).
