David Carley is the Founder and CEO of PANGAEA Enterprises, the corporate parent of Advanced Strategic Business Solutions (ASBS), a boutique consultancy specializing in for-profit entities; PANGAEA Associates, a unique consultancy focusing on improving the operations and development of non-profit organizations; PANGAEA Initiative, an educational content, program and curriculum development resource where the arts and movement are integrated into all subjects, both to deliver the lesson and gauge the students’ progress and understanding; PANGAEA Education Centers where the ideas developed by and through the Initiative are delivered to students; Rock Worx, a cooperative work space encouraging community and shared problem solving and brainstorming spaces for business to organically come together to grow each other’s success and Unseen Angels, a not-for-profit organization focused on helping those who have find causes in need without the typical fanfare they shy away from and prevents their philanthropic ventures. The consultancies focus their work on an entity or team’s internal infrastructure and operations, strategic positioning and institutional cohesiveness through traditional and non-traditional methods, born out of over a decade of Executive Development, over two decades in non-profit program development, leadership and leadership development as well as the Founder’s hobbies, education and life experiences.
His work is fueled by a combination of skills that support start-up formation, corporate development, operational effectiveness, leadership development and financial best practices along with his passion for breaking down barriers to one’s personal and professional success. His background includes extensive experience in operations, best practice development and enactment, board development, the implementation of capital and sustaining campaigns, revenue growth, as well as program and executive staff development. His experience within the for-profit sector includes helping companies build effective teams, instill best practices, reduce redundancies and waste, create productive work environments and effectively manage both the human capital and fiscal side of operations. David is also consultants for strategic planning, operational and strategic readiness, infrastructure and operational practices and procedures. These skills and experiences have been honed through his life’s own experiences, good and bad.

Mr. Carley was a competitive swimmer in high school finishing in the top ten In the State In two Individual events and a relay; played collegiate water polo earning two Mid-Atlantic All-Star Team spots and Captain of the Team for two years. He is a graduate of Temple University, completing both his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Athletic Training and Sports Medicine respectively. Additionally, because of the financial burdens imposed by attending graduate school, Mr. Carley enlisted in the US Navy after completing his undergraduate studies, enrolling in the Advanced Officer Candidate Training programming and serving with the Underwater Demolitions Team and Amphibious Recon Team, earning and maintaining the rank of Lieutenant Commander, with a command of twelve men, enabling him to lead those men from the field, doing everything possible to ensure their safe return home. David has coached high school and collegiate swimmers with two making Olympic Trials and one qualifying for the US team in1992. He also coached Special Olympic Swimmers at two International Games for Team USA.
