Meet the Workforce & PA CareerLink® (Lunch & Learn)

The Carbon Chamber & Economic Development Corporation (CCEDC), proud partner of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, invites businesses, community leaders, and employers to Meet the Workforce & PA CareerLink® (a Lunch & Learn), an informative session designed to help local organizations better understand the workforce development resources and employer support systems available throughout our region.

This collaborative presentation will feature Sam Hellen, Executive Director of the Pocono Counties Workforce Development Board, and Lynette Serrano, Site Administrator for the Carbon County CareerLink®, who will provide an overview of the workforce development network and the many ways businesses can connect with and benefit from these valuable partnerships and programs.

Attendees will gain insight into:

• What the workforce development system is and how it supports local employers
• Opportunities for businesses to partner with workforce organizations
• Services and resources available through PA CareerLink
• Employer-focused support including hiring assistance, workforce training resources, job posting support, and more
