HUT. HUT. HIKE! Witness our Otters’ NFL Championship Prediction; Includes all day admission to LV Zoo! Enjoy watching our resident North American River Otter “Experts” (Luani and Piper) predict the winner of the NFL’s Championship Game to be held the following day… and learn all about our otterly adorable duo. Kickoff for Otterbowl XIV is at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8, at Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital North American River Otter Exhibit. The prediction is made based on which team’s “football” – filled with delicious, fishy treats – is “sacked” first by Luani and Piper. Our otters’ all-time predication record stands at 3-8-1* after incorrectly selecting Philadelphia last year (*the lone tie occurred in 2020, when Luani “sacked” the opposite “football” than did our late female otter, Naya). This event serves as a great opportunity for Luani and Piper to receive ample enrichment and for our guests in attendance to learn more about North American River Otters. Any member (free) or guest that purchases a ticket to the zoo will be welcome to attend our “Big Game.” During Winter Hours, all admission tickets to the LV Zoo are priced at $11 and can be purchased at www.lvzoo.org.
