Rhododendrons line the trails through Brodhead Canyon Glen. Our route was part of the former New York & Susquehanna railroad bed along the Brodhead Creek at the base of Godrey's Ridge on the Monroe County Broadhead Creek Canyon Open Space Tract. This little-known stretch of the Brodhead Creek is a good place for hiking, biking, birding, or fly-fishing, and is rated as an easy walk. This is a level, out-and-back walk, approximately 2 miles in length. Leashed dogs are welcome. Dress for the weather. This walk is free and is part of the Get Out! For Wellness series, in partnership with Lehigh Valley Health Network. Please register online.
